We ran this popular event for three years, from 2007 to 2009 attracting more than 500 local school pupils each year. For details of our current Christmas Trail click here.
Star Trail is a multi-sensory re-enactment of the journey of the Wise Men from Egypt to Bethlehem.
Pupils visit seven “stations” which enable them to enter into the Christmas story in a fresh way. During the trail they handle frankincense crystals, smell myrrh oil and take their own gift for the baby in the manger.
In addition, pupils have the opportunity to decorate and take away a star cookie.
