Our primary school workshops are based on Bristol’s Locally Agreed Syllabus for RE. We regularly provide workshops and lessons for ten local primary schools, including Westbury Park, Colston’s and St John’s. Over the last three years, we have built a reputation for professionalism and creativity in RE with very positive feedback from staff and pupils.
Our workshops take place on our site which includes a beautiful Georgian church and our modern halls complex. Alternatively, most of our workshops can also be brought into schools. Workshops are free of charge. They last approximately 75 minutes and are available Tuesday to Thursday.
Listed below are the primary school workshops we can provide (although they are adaptable to different ages):

"Thank you so much for today’s workshop on 'Jesus as a Leader' - it was absolutely great. You have a lovely way with the children and excellent resources, far better than anything we could have done. I feel really privileged that we could have such a good workshop free of charge."
Y3 teacher, Westbury Park School
"Just wanted to thank the REC team for coming in [to teach our Y4 pupils about Christian views of Jesus as God] - it was really useful and helped the children begin to come to terms with a very difficult concept."

"All of the activities were pitched at the right level for our children. REC were so welcoming and helpful. They adapted their workshops to fit with our topics (Victorians and The Bible). All in all, a great trip and free of charge!" Y5 Teacher, St Matthias and Dr Bell Primary School
"I thought going to church would be boring but it was really interesting. I liked finding out about all the things that went on there during the week as well as on Sundays. (Visiting a Place of Worship)"
