Redland Education Centre's Lead Teacher is Lydia Lodge and she is assisted by Jess Wilson and Ali Long, together with other members of the church staff from time to time.
Lydia graduated from Cardiff University in 2011 with a degree in Religious and Theological Studies. She then completed a PGCE in RE at the University of Bristol and taught at Kings Oak Academy for the following five years. When she’s not with REC, she leads the Student and Young Adult group at her church in Fishponds.
Ali has worked as a primary school teacher for over 30 years in London, Devon and Bristol. She currently works at Almondsbury C of E school, job sharing a class of Year 4 children. Over the years she has led curriculum training, primarily in English and the Creative Arts. Ali loves to read, garden and ride her bicycle. She works part-time for REC.
Jess completed a PGCE in General Primary at the University of Reading before teaching in different parts of Bristol over the course of 4 years. She now works for REC part-time. She loves reading or getting creative with a sewing machine.
